Serves as a nursing informatics resource, to individuals and teams within Patient Care Services. Job Responsibility Knowledgeable of Performance Improvement methodology used within the organization. Within this 21- bed unit we care for every child with individualized treatment approaches. Children may be admitted to the facility with medical goals and rehab goals alike. Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a mid-level health care provider, who works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team and is responsible for providing direct comprehensive care to patients and supervision of ancillary staff. The NP educates the patient, family/significant other by promoting wellness, preventing health care problems, maintaining current health status, and intervening in acute or chronic illness. Responsibilities: Performs A Comprehensive Functional Assessment Of The Patients Based On Age And History.
