Supervise RN's, LPN's, CNA's and other staff. Ensure all staff adheres to facility rules and procedures Provide medical care to patients as needed. Coordinate with medical team and social work team to provide care. Conduct admissions process for new residents to the facility. Primary responder to emergencies that occur during the shift. Maintain and update all documents and records required. Participate in recruitment and staffing as necessary. Other responsibilities as required by facility. Requirements Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State. Experience working in a long term care, nursing and rehab facility, or hospital setting is preferred. Supervisory experience is highly preferred. A Skilled Nursing Facility in Jamaica Queens, NY is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to oversee daily operations, support clinical staff, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight during assigned shifts. Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident well-being and operational effectiveness. Supervise nursing assistants and direct care staff to ensure appropriate workflow and quality standards. Monitor medication administration activities and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up when necessary. Respond to resident concerns, behavioral issues, and emergent situations in a timely and professional manner. Facilitate communication among clinical, administrative, and support teams to ensure continuity of care. Assist with admissions, readmissions, and transitions of care.
