Job Description​ The Opportunity : Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City – Medical Education Internal Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced RN to join our team. The Schedule: This is a part time position. This position will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. The hours are 0800-1630 with an assigned late night weekly. No Weekends, No Call The Work: This position is for an Internal Medicine teaching clinic. RN must have the ability to work with multiple providers and must have excellent multi-tasking skills. The RN is accountable for utilizing the nursing process throughout the provision of patient/family care. Is responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care of patients and consulting other disciplines of the health care team as indicated. The RN functions collaboratively with the medical staff and other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care. The RN adheres to all nursing policies and standards and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes. Responsible for facilitating patient care, anticipating patient care needs, individualizing patient care and adjusting or modifying the nursing plan of care as appropriate. The RN will possess and utilize effective technical skills for the provision of safe and appropriate care (i.e. pharmacological knowledge, assessment skills, etc.) 2 years nursing experience inpatient or outpatient strongly preferred.
