As the region’s only adult Level 1 trauma center, the SICU is always ready to receive any critical trauma patient requiring resuscitation and specialized nursing care. We have a variety of solid organ transplant recipients, including liver, kidney-pancreas, and kidney transplants. We care for complex oncologic, hepatobiliary, and general surgery patients who are referred from across the country.
