Education - Required Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Regional MDS Nurse Consultant

We have an opportunity for a Regional MDS Nurse Consultant covering facilities in Pittsburgh, PA area (hybrid). The Regional MDS Nurse Consultant will work with our MDS Nurses ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by developing, monitoring, auditing, and modifying each resident’s care plan for their individual needs and goals, performing resident assessments and assisting in the discharge process. The Regional MDS Nurse Consultant: Collaborates with Director of Clinical Services, Regional Director of Operations, Administrators, and Directors of Nursing within the assigned region. Identifies and monitors centers with the greatest need for quality and regulatory intervention. Leads center and regional operations personnel, associated clinical services staff; and interdisciplinary resources through proactive and reactive quality interventions to improve care delivery, customer satisfaction, and survey results minimizing financial penalties, limitations on admission and litigation opportunities.
