The OR Tech II in 701 Surgery provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older. The surgical technologist in the first scrub role handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The OR Tech II understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. The OR Tech II has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. When the OR Tech II is in the second scrub role, they assist the surgeon and/or surgical assistant during the operative procedure by carrying out tasks including sponging, suctioning, cutting suture, holding retractors and manipulating the endoscopic camera. This role is distinct from that of the first scrub and surgical first assistant. What Qualifications You Will Need: ON CALL First Scrub tech - must be able to scrub independently, without backups. Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing Facility We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and help ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. Conditions typically seen in clinic: We care for adolescents and young adults ages 10 to 21 who are dealing with any of the following medical issues: Guidance and care for reproductive and sexual health Counseling, prevention, screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) for all people, including cervical cancer screening and the HPV vaccine for cancer prevention. Comprehensive and emergency contraception care and guidance. HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
