GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations. Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care. Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident. Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately. Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables. Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach. Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator. Enliven is seeking an experienced RN (Registered Nurse) to service home infusion and Infusion Center patients in Grapevine and surrounding locations. The ideal candidate must be well-trained and able to give the best nursing care possible with little supervision. They will educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits. Report patient care, conditions, and progress to the patient's physician, pharmacy, and Clinical Manager continuously. Implement patient care plan in conjunction with patient and family to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems. Discharge patients after consultation with the physician and Clinical Manager, preparing and completing needed clinical documentation. Prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Must hold an active RN license - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required. CPR – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is required upon hire. ACM – Accredited Case Manager upon hire is preferred OR CCM – Commission for Case Manager Certification or other ANCC upon hire is preferred.
