At United Care ABA, we know that Home Health Aides develop strong caregiving skills —patience, compassion, consistency, and the ability to support individuals through challenges. Those same skills translate extremely well to working with children in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) . We are actively hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) who are passionate about helping children grow and succeed. This position works well for two types of candidates : • Home Health Aides who currently work in home care and want a second job working with children during after-school hours. • Individuals with past Home Health Aide experience who are looking to apply those caregiving skills in a new professional direction. Many of the strengths that make someone successful as a Home Health Aide—patience, empathy, reliability, and attention to detail—are the same strengths that make an excellent Behavior Technician. Why United Care ABA? We’re not just offering a job—we’re offering a career path. At United Care ABA, we support Behavior Technicians with training, mentorship, and a team culture that helps you grow professionally. Hands-On Training Learn while you work and prepare for RBT certification with guided support. Regular Check-Ins and Clinical Supervision You will work under experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who provide mentorship and guidance. Clear Path for Growth We support advancement from Behavior Technician to Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and beyond. Future Opportunities Team members who demonstrate strong ability may have opportunities for full-time roles as our clinics expand. Scholarship Opportunities Top performers may have access to educational support and scholarships for advanced careers in ABA, including BCBA. Strong Team Culture You’ll work alongside professionals who care about your development and the success of the children we serve. What We Offer to Behavior Technicians Career Development Structured support to help you become a certified RBT and gain experience in the ABA field. Flexible Scheduling Full-time and part-time positions available, including after-school and evening hours that work well as a second job. Supportive Work Environment Training, guidance, and responsive administrative support. Collaborative Culture You’ll be part of a team that values communication, consistency, and meaningful outcomes for children. Paid Time Off and benefits for eligible full-time employees. Pay starting at $20–$23 per hour , based on experience, with opportunities for increases after certification and performance. What We’re Looking For A passion for working with children and a desire to make a lasting difference. Willingness to pursue RBT certification within your first few months of employment (required). High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow clinical guidance. Interest in building experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Behavior Technician Responsibilities Work directly with children under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized ABA therapy. Follow treatment plans designed to improve communication, behavior, and daily living skills. Accurately record session data and provide feedback to supervisors. Build strong, consistent relationships with children and families. Maintain professionalism and compassion in all interactions. Participate in team meetings and complete required training.
