Job Overview The Medical Assistant (MA) II functions as an AltaMed ambassador at the assigned clinic, PSC, or Patient Registry team. Lastly, the MA assists in achieving department goals and objectives by providing support and guidance to the Medical Assistant team as a mentor and trainer. If working at the Patient Service Center, the MA provides other duties over the telephone. Minimum Requirements A Medical Assistant certificate, along with a high school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a back office Medical Assistant preferred in the outpatient setting, medical practice, or clinic setting.
