Position Summary/ Department Summary: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Neurology Join our Center for Excellence in Epilepsy and Neurology, with care focusing on children and families with epilepsy and neurological diagnosis at acute and intermediate levels of care. This is a 36 hour/week position on a 31-bed pediatric neuroscience unit, inclusive of a 12 bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Opportunity to flex cover the Neuro Critical Care consult service following additional orientation. Key Responsibilities: First line care of Epilepsy and Neurology patient population on the inpatient neuroscience unit, including assessment and medical history, physical exams, diagnosis, and family centered care of patients and their families. Consulting in an interdisciplinary manner on all assigned inpatients during daily rounds and managing assigned patients throughout the course of the day.
