Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff to promote professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence. Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure continuous enhancement of nursing services. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and clinical standards governing nursing care facilities. Qualifications for Director of Nursing: Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts. A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center, or other related healthcare setting required. Experience in supervision, leadership, and staff development required. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and standards applicable to long-term care settings.
