Department Description Maternity Services/Perinatal Unit is 52 beds divided between two floors, F1 and F2. Of those 52 beds, 12 are dedicated to antepartum patients and 40 are postpartum beds. Postpartum patients often fall into the category of higher acuity, with many experiencing acute or chronic medical conditions that require treatment irrespective of pregnancy. Job Description The Adult Medical Transitional unit (30 beds) provides care to a diverse adult patient population with an emphasis on acute and chronic medicine patients.
