Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary. Job Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners Work Experience One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required . Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience. Required Licenses/Certifications National Certification Active state medical licensure Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, casting etc. Preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required . Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required . As a Registered Nurse Home Health, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways: Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Home Health team. Assumes primary responsibility for caseload, including assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the plan of treatment. Previous Home Health or Hospice Experience is preferred. Previous experience with HomeCare HomeBase is preferred. Able and willing to travel within the branch/office coverage area. Must be able and willing to travel 50%. Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs. Valid driver’s license and insurance and reliable transportation to perform job tasks. You will report to the Clinical Manager or Clinical Supervisor.
