Position Summary Provide wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nursing in the prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitative and palliative nursing care to persons with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. Education Current/valid state of NJ RN license (or legal permission to work from the NJ Board of Nursing). Completion of an accredited Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (WOCN) full scope specialty education program with subsequent board certification in WOC from Wound, Ostomy, and Continence certification board (WOCNCB). Maintain recertification every (5) five years. Completion of general nursing orientation, CPR certification and unit-based orientation. BLS Required from American Heart Association. Experience Computer and keyboard skills. Medical terminology required. Overview Works as a member of an interdisciplinary care team at a NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community) or Senior Living Retirement Community location and is responsible to coordinate a broad range of health and social services to help support older residents to age in their own homes.
