Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 603000 TG - 4N Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Position Description: Assists in providing nursing care of patients by working cooperatively with other team members in maintaining standards of care in the clinical setting. Their frequent contact with patients assists the nurses in utilizing the nursing process. Qualifications: 1. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF): Requires successful completion of Nurse Aide Training Program. Maintenance of certification is required. 2. Job Responsibility Manages and leads team members, operations and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shift. Collaborates with team members and nursing management in the development of methods, techniques and analytical approach to patient care. Communicates, builds consensus, and guides team members toward achieving department objectives. Promotes and maintains high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Creates a professional work environment that encourages team member respect, engagement, accountability and optimal patient outcomes. Promotes appreciative inquiry and evidence-based, ethical and compassionate practice. Provides direction and guidance to patient care unit team members during assigned shift.
