Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Employee must be at least 18 years of age; High school graduate or equivalent; Keyboarding experience required; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; One year of clerical experience preferred; One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred; One year of supervisory experience preferred; Licensed to practice as a Nurse by the state of Pennsylvania.

Job Description Nemours Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team in Wilmington, DE. This APP will function independently and collaboratively to provide general surgery and trauma care for patients from 0 through 21 years of age. This Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for communicating with families and coordinating care in both the hospital and outpatient setting. Additional responsibilities include participation in trauma resuscitation in addition to surgical and trauma consultations throughout the hospital. Coverage expectations include a combination of overnight, weekend and day shifts.
