The Observation Unit offers a fast-paced environment focused on safe, high-quality patient care for adults requiring expedited evaluation and close monitoring for less than 24 hours. Serving a mix of ER and inpatient populations, the Observation unit requires nurses to be highly adaptable with strong assessment skills, as patient conditions can change rapidly. Together, the combined unit provides diverse learning opportunities, high patient interaction, and strong professional development for nursing caregivers. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers with providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Weekender Flex Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week.
