Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of assessments, treatments, interventions, and patient responses. Provide care and monitoring of vascular access sites and report complications or changes promptly. Promote infection prevention and control practices throughout the dialysis treatment process. Participate in patient care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education as required. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the rights, dignity, and safety of each patient. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications for RN Hemodialysis Nurse: Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Previous hemodialysis or renal nursing experience preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification required. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of hemodialysis procedures, vascular access management, medication administration, and infection prevention practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The CCU cares for complex cardiac critical care patients including structural heart (TAVR), pre-cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other critical cardiac disease processes. The CCU nurses receive specialized training to care for our critical care cardiac patients Experience Required A minimum of one year or more of acute care experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
