Education and Experience Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity. Under the supervision of the Director, the Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients at the Advanced Wound Center (AWC) in a case management model that includes a holistic approach to a defined and assigned case of wound care patients. Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited nursing program OK Board of Nursing, RN License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical experience Preferred Job Requirements: Wound Care experience
