Summary GENERAL SUMMARY Works under continuous supervision and clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Responsibilities include hospital rounds, performing procedures for inpatients and office patients, and care of trauma patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engages in the practices constituting the practice of medicine in collaboration with and under the medical direction and supervision of a licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice and our patients/families throughout the inpatient hospital stay, with effective utilization of healthcare resources. Provides office visits under supervision and within scope of practice. Performs other duties as assigned. LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Current State license as an APRN or PA with specialization in Family or Pediatrics. CPR, PALS and ATLS training required and/or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Summary GENERAL SUMMARY Reports to designated division Director and is responsible for managing designated nursing personnel, coordinating and directing the workflow and functions of the department assigned to facilitate safe and efficient workflow and clinical practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises assigned staff including development of schedules and ensuring that quality patient care is delivered. Performs other duties as directed. LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Healthcare/management experience required. Pediatric experience preferred. Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to plan, establish and maintain a professional work environment.
