Investigate infections and outbreaks and implement appropriate corrective actions. Provide infection prevention education and training to all departments. Maintain accurate infection control documentation and reports. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, pharmacy, laboratory services, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in QAPI initiatives and other clinical improvement projects. Assist the DON with special projects and assume leadership responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Current New York State RN license in good standing. Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care, or Rehabilitation setting. Prior ADON, Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, Infection Preventionist, or nursing leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of infection prevention practices and regulatory requirements. Infection prevention certification or specialized training is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to educate, motivate, and lead clinical staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality resident care.
