Trauma and Emergency General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Position Overview: The Trauma and Emergency General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers direct patient care consistent with the APP’s education, experience, and certification, in collaboration with the attending Trauma and Emergency General Surgery physicians. A Brief Overview Start time between 7am to 8:30am until last patient leaves, rotate who stays late, work 4 Saturdays per year. You may work in stress testing, transesophageal echoes, LDL dialysis, vein stripping, or in the Coumadin Clinic doing anticoagulation testing and follow up. What You Will Do Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
