The Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice seeks guidance to integrate concepts, knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet standards for competent professional nursing practice as specified in the Clinical Nurse I New to Practice/Apprentice position description addendum. The Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice exhibits UPHS organizational behavioral competencies which reflect its mission and are embedded in the professional practice competency domains. The Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice is accountable for the provision of direct care to patients who may range in age from infancy to the elderly and demonstrates within the competency domains of Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence Based Practice and Research, Leadership, Person and Family Centered Care, Professionalism, Safety, Teamwork, and Technology/ Informatics (Definitions listed below). Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking for passionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing nursing team in Trenton, NJ. As a RN, you will provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support the nursing staff in delivering high quality, resident-centered care. This position can be full time or part-time or per diem Pay Rates: $37.00 - $41.00 per hour ______________________________________________________________ Job Requirements: Current and active Registered Nurse License in state of TN Previous experience in long term care is preferred Strong clinical assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if needed _________________________________________________________________ Job Responsibilities May Include: Provide direct patient care to residents following established care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting accurately Monitor residents' health status including vital signs, physical and mental condition Assist with admission, transfers and discharge procedures including resident assessments and documentation Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists and other team members to ensure quality care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records Support residents with activities of daily living as needed Participate in care planning, family conferences, and resident meetings to promote person centered care Follow infection control, safety protocols and facility policies Educate residents and families on health management, medication use, and care procedures Assist in training and mentoring new staff _________________________________________________________________ Why Choose Riverside Health and Rehab?
