Position Summary: The nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. Scope of Position: Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred. This is a float position and as such, the nurse is expected to work at multiple locations. Additional Information: This position will be required to work every other weekend at the ACC East Weekend Infusion clinic based out of East Hospital. In addition, this position will require floating to the five core infusion clinics throughout Columbus and will vary daily based on patient volume and staffing needs. Initiate and coordinate care conferences with the participation of all members of the care team as needed.
