Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift. 8. Gives and receives shift reports. 9. Rounds the unit multiple times during the shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. 10. Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident's condition. 11. Assists in developing comprehensive care plans. 12. Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality. 13. Assure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained when providing care. Follow established safety precautions when preforming tasks and using equipment and supplies. 14. Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to appropriate persons. 15. Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of Residents/residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment. 16. Answer and respond to call lights promptly and courteously. 17. Assist with new admissions, re-admissions and assist with the transfer of Residents to different rooms within the facility. 18. Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with Residents/residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors. 19. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed. 20. Communicate with other employees in a private and respectful manner. 21. Eastern Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may also be required by the Director of Nursing to maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times. This RN position provides several benefits including: overtime opportunities, paid in-service training, incentive bonuses , and employee recognition programs . Pay and Compensation: You’ll earn a base hourly rate plus between $40 and $44, with $2.00/hour shift diffs for 3p-11p shift or $1.50/hour for 11p-7a shift. Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN): Registered Nurse with current state license. Must have a current/active CPR certification. Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job. Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day. Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time. #INDRN
