Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification or physician assistant program. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or PA program. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situation. CPR and ACLS certified and must maintain certification during employment. NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 3 months of employment commencement. Program Highlights You’ll support a diverse and complex cardiac case mix with large mechanical support, including: Open Heart Surgery Heart and Lung Transplant Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) 12 hour shifts Day/night rotation In this role, you will function as an advanced clinician providing comprehensive, evidence‑based care to complex, critically ill cardiothoracic patients. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care across the continuum.
