The NP will Collaborate with MD partners, primary nurses, medical assistants, and support staff to deliver patient centered team-based care. · The NP will independently manage a panel of patients of his/her own, and be responsible for meeting quality, and panel targets as outlined by the department. ·The NP may also co-manage patients within the practice, collaborative with designated physician(s). · As part of his/her role, the NP will perform and record the patient history and physical exam; form an assessment and plan, which may include ordering appropriate testing and imaging, and the interpretation of results and communication of the results to patients. Position Summary/ Department Summary: This Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work in the Emergency Department on the Boston BCH Main Campus. Key Responsibilities: Assess and manage patients at all acuity levels with medical and/or surgical complaints.
