Key Responsibilities Clinical Management: Provide comprehensive care to Neuro ICU patients, managing their critical care needs through the healthcare continuum, including preventative, acute, discharge, and ambulatory care. Nursing Process: Responsible for the application and supervision of the nursing process, including clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, and patient care management. Collaboration and Leadership: Incorporate independent decision-making and collaboration with physicians to deliver expert care. This role is focused on inpatient care and provides the opportunity to work collaboratively with interventional cardiologists in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The Nurse Practitioner will function as an advanced practice provider delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care across the continuum, with a strong emphasis on interventional and procedural cardiology. Essential Responsibilities: Provide advanced inpatient cardiovascular care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures Manages the care of the patient, collaborating with the physician when necessary, according to SJO approved standardized procedures Assess the status of the patient and intervenes with appropriate orders and interventions.
