Advanced Practice Provider - (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Overview Under the daily supervision of the Department Administrator, and Clinical Supervision of a Psychiatrist, this role functions as an Advanced Practice Provider within EVMS Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This role will enable the Department Psychiatrists to expand their capacity to perform comprehensive new patient evaluations, and to provide patient care for patients that have established and determined diagnosis. This Advanced Practice Provider will also play a pivotal role in the Department's Next Day Clinic (NDAC). Responsibilities Evaluates New Patients. Develop treatment plans for established patients and our revisions in accordance with applicable protocols, standards of care and under the clinical supervision of assigned psychiatrists.
