Maintains clean, well-equipped examination rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments. Stock examination rooms and triage area with medical supplies, ensuring all supplies are within expiration date. Participate in all staff meetings, education lectures and PCMH/QI improvement activities, and required training provided by EVMS and EVMS MG. Follow EVMS protocols related to infection control, environmental safety and patient confidentiality. Complete annual recertification for Blood Borne Pathogens, HIPAA Compliance Training, Respiratory FIT and IT Policy. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications and Skills: Completion of a Medical Assistant program and certification (RMA, CMA, or CDT). Qualifications What You’ll Bring Required: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, a Master’s Degree (MSN) preferred. Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse (Infusion Center) position is to administer total patient care based on individualized needs of assigned patients and families in accordance with professional nursing standards.
