Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Assesses each patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs · Plans and implements a plan of care with the appropriate nursing interventions specific to the age population served · Assesses educational needs of patient/ families implementing teaching strategies · Evaluate care given including the patient response · Documents nursing care in the medical record · Provides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers who assist the nurse in the plan of care · Administers medications and treatments as prescribed · Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits · Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct Required Qualifications: Education and Training: · CPR certified · Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice Act Work Shift Details: Days - 12 Hours, 7a-7p with rotating weekend and holiday requirements Part-time; Days Department: 4-3 TELEMETRY MEDICAL IP NURSING Benefits for You At Silver Cross Hospital, we care about your health and well-being and that is why we work hard to provide quality and affordable benefit options for you and your eligible family members.
