Position Summary: Assist physician with duties necessary to support the needs of the practice working within and to the maximum scope of license Education, License & Cert: LPN ‐ license based on corresponding position location Experience: One‐year experience in healthcare field preferred but not required Essential Functions: 1. Directs patient to exam room and prepares patient for exam or treatment by identifying height, weight, respirations, blood pressure, temperature, additional testing, and records same on chart. This is a PRN position. Schedule will include a mix 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. Union Hospital offers a diverse, high‑acuity community caseload across general surgery, orthopedics, OB, endoscopy, and procedural services, with consistent daily OR volume and strong utilization. CRNAs practice in a collaborative, medical‑direction model (1 anesthesiologist to 4 CRNAs) that supports both professional autonomy and team‑based care. Administers anesthetic care for the purpose of facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures. Responsibilities: Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient. Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care. Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia. Recognizes alterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and/or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician as indicated. Other duties as assigned. Education: Graduate of accredited CRNA program.
