The Opportunity The Certified Caregiver - CNA position is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing care to the residents. This position requires a combination of stamina, empathy, and compassion to effectively support the needs of residents. What You’ll Do Accurately perform and record vital signs, height and weight. Accurately calculate and record weight gain/loss and fluid intake/output. Maintain a clean and safe resident environment. Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor. Perform palliative and post-mortem care. This is a 21 bed acuity adaptable unit serving medical/surgical and progressive care patients. The scope of service includes providing post-operative surgical care for patients who have undergone orthopedic joint replacements, abdominal surgery, genitourinary surgery, as well as medical managementfor diabetic, cardiac, gastrointestinal, trauma, neurological, and respiratory patients requiring admission.
