Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Administrative representative for the organization when administration is not present. The RN supervisor shall oversee and guide nursing employees that are under their supervision. Must have and maintain current BCLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS (South Texas Behavioral is excluded from needing ACLS) certifications, according to unit specific needs. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider’s Program. 4. Familiar with basic nursing performance standards as outlined in the TX Nurse Practice Act. 5. Membership in related professional organization preferred.
