Responsibilities Gulfport Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility): Gulfport Behavioral Health System is an acute behavioral health hospital on the Mississippi Gulf Coast providing inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient services to children, adolescents, and adults. Consults with the physician regarding treatment recommendations and referrals. Opportuniy to work with various patient populations including children, adolescents, adults, and the military. The position is PRN including weekend and weekday coverage. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or APRN and completion of a post graduate program for psychiatric mental health nursing. Experience: Preferably two or more years experience within a psychiatric setting. A minimum of two (2) years experience in working with an Outpatient setting is preferred. Licensure: Licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi as a Nurse Practitioner or APRN.
