Summary Statement This position as a Registered Nurse is responsible for providing expert-level knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide, coordinate, and monitor nursing services to adults with physical disabilities as well as aging Delawareans to resolve both emergent and ongoing concerns referred to the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) community nursing. The incumbent will be focused on interviewing and collaborating with individuals and their families, as well as advocating for the health, safety, welfare, or rights of individuals within DSAAPD. The incumbent will assess progress, connect to resources, and refer as needed for additional follow-up services once the emergent clinical issues identified are addressed. Job Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS for Registered Nurse III Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Master's degree or higher in Nursing.
