Overview Collaborates with the Emergency Department Staff, Medical Staff, and Clinical Assessment Team to provide direct care for Emergency Department psychiatric patients and admitted medically ill patients with behavioral health needs to include facilitating social and emotional needs, collaborating with Emergency Department staff, medical staff and physicians on medication schedules and evaluating patient progress. Collaborates with ED Physicians and Psychiatrist to ensure safe admission or discharge plan of care. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment through the use of assessment tools, monitoring devices and restraining techniques where deemed necessary. This position delegates to other team members to include LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, OTs and/or US. Overview Dialysis is located on the forth floor of DCH Regional campus and the main floor at DCH Northport campus. Our hours at the Regional campus are Monday-Sunday 6:30-1900 with call taken for after hours. On the Northport campus, hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with call taken on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and after hours. Our Regional unit has eight dialysis bays, and the ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis. The Northport campus has four dialysis bays and the ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis. The RNs and Certified Dialysis Techs (CCHTs) on this unit prepare and perform dialyses treatments on patients within our organization.
