Position Summary Provide wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nursing in the prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitative and palliative nursing care to persons with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Transfers: Current New York State employee with one or more years of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55 b/c service in a position allocated to Grade 18 or above, and that is eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law to Registered Nurse 2 (Geriatric). Open Competitive HELPS qualifications: Possession of a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State; and one year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience working with a geriatric population. The posted salary range includes the statutory hiring rate at step 4 and job rate for PS&T Grade 20, a Geographic Pay Differential of $35,000, and downstate adjustment of $4,150. Additional compensation may apply based on shift assignment. 7% shift differential for evening shift; 10% shift differential for night shift. Inconvenience pay program of $825 per year will be paid to employees who work four (4) hours or more between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Hours worked between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on an overtime basis are not included for Inconvenience Pay.
