Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations. Department Highlights Justin 5 is a 26‑bed Surgical Trauma Progressive Care (PCU) and Burn Unit. 18 beds are for Surgical Trauma or Burn PCU patients and 8 beds are for Med-Tele Burn Patients. This unit provides higher‑acuity surgical trauma and burn care, including treatment in a dedicated hydrotherapy procedure room for the burn population. Although patient populations differ, this is one integrated unit, and staff are expected to work across both care areas.
