This PRN role includes a commitment of one shift biweekly , one weekend per month , and coverage of one summer holiday and one winter holiday , supporting the dynamic needs of the Emergency Department while maintaining scheduling flexibility. Responsibilities Assessment & Prioritization Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments to determine clinical needs and prioritize care appropriately. Conducts risk assessments to identify potential complications and initiates timely interventions. Specimen Collection & Processing Collects correct and adequate blood and urine specimens as ordered by physicians, following proper techniques and safety procedures. Accurately labels specimens and completes all required processing steps to ensure integrity and traceability. Ensures appropriate and timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory, coordinating courier transport or outside‑agency pickup when required. Documentation & Communication Maintains clear, complete, and timely documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe and coordinated care. Clinical Problem‑Solving Applies strong problem‑solving skills to evaluate situations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
