Clinical Unit Leader - St. Francis Downtown Job Summary: The Lead RN/Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care on a designated unit. In collaboration with the Clinical Manager, this role uses nursing process and clinical knowledge to coordinate members of the health care team to develop and sustain an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice and customer satisfaction, while striving for optimal efficiency and productivity of all resources. Current CPR Certification required. One (1) year recent experience required. Acute care setting preferred. ACLS certification preferred. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice. Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS. Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients. Demonstrates critical thinking skills. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. Responsibilities The House Supervisor is responsible for administrative supervision of nursing services on the assigned shift. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel to maintain continuity of patient care. Provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice. Posted Total Compensation The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ Minimum Salary USD $41.23/Hr. Maximum Salary USD $48.49/Hr.
