About the Role The Nurse Resident is a licensed Registered Nurse enrolled in Howard University Hospital’s Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program, reporting to the Nurse Manager and the Director of Professional Practice & Education. Through structured support and mentorship, you will advance toward independent responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care, building the clinical judgment and confidence that define a successful transition to professional nursing practice.
