Overview The Maternal Fetal Care Unit consists of 9 beds. This unit specializes in the care of antepartum patients with a variety of diagnoses. These include preterm premature rupture of membranes, preeclampsia, preterm labor, and diabetes. This unit also cares for pregnant and post-partum patients with complicated medical diagnoses in addition to their pregnancy, including but not limited to cardiac complications, sickle cell disease, and substance use disorder. Experience Required MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS REGISTERED NURSE EXPERIENCE IN MED SURG OR OTHER COMPARABLE UNIT. Education Requirements Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
