Job Description UC Health is hiring a Full Time Clinical Staff RN Educator for our Psychiatry Department at the UC Medical Center The Clinical Staff RN Educator is responsible for providing individualized orientation for new personnel, in-service education, and continuing education programs to meet the identified needs of the staff. The Clinical Staff RN Educator serves as a resource to the nursing staff. The Clinical Staff RN Educator assesses, develops, coordinates, and supports educational programs to meet the needs of staff and enhance specific clinical nursing skills. Unit-based responsibilities include: orientation, preceptor support/development, coaching/mentoring, quality initiatives, unit level annual competency assessment/validation, and student activities Ensures effective learning experiences for competency assessment and validation to reflect practice changes, regulatory agency or organizational policy requirements.
