At Saint Alphonsus, the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (MBS) Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating bariatric patient care with providers, triaging bariatric patients (telephonically/in-person), conducting pre-visit chart reviews to assess and anticipate bariatric patient care needs, developing and providing patient education, coordinating care across the continuum, and supporting quality improvement activities within the practice at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Metabolic and Bariatric Center. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed in the state of Idaho as a Health Care Professional as Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed in the state of Oregon as a Health Care Professional (Registered Nurse) within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred. Registration as an MBS Coordinator preferred. Three years of direct patient care experience desirable. Manages internal bariatric patient data base for all bariatric patients in their preoperative and postoperative journey.
