Documents on flow sheets. Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care. Responds to call lights in a timely manner. Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care. Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Takes and records vital signs. Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order. Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge. Skill / Experience Requirements . Current NYS CNA Certification Required. Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
