BriteLife Recovery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care to clients struggling with substance abuse. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care to our clients. What tasks are required? Perform initial and on-going assessment of client’s medical, physical, and psychosocial status. Prescribe and monitor medication as necessary for clients in recovery. Obtain and evaluate health and medical history; perform a physical exam, conduct preventive screening procedures based on age and history; Identify medical and health risk. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients. Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations, interventions, plan of care, referrals, follow-up, and progress in electronic health records. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required. What we need from you? Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state. PMHNP/FNP dual-certified 2 years of experience working with clients with substance abuse disorders preferred. Experience prescribing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
