Summary A virtual registered nurse (RN) is responsible for the remote patient management and care in the inpatient setting. The virtual RN serves as a member of the healthcare team by collaborating, communicating, and facilitating care with all clinicians, patients and families. The virtual RN supports nurses from a remote location who are working in the patient care unit. Essential Functions Provides direct and indirect patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure safe patient care through a virtual platform.
