Job Purpose: The Staff Nurse (RN) is a professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients. The Staff Nurse (RN) will provide care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and coordinates with other health care team members, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.
