Job Summary and Responsibilities As our NICU Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, you’ll monitor the complex medical needs of sick and preterm infants. Every day, you will provide compassionate care, serving as their advocate; supporting their best interests when they cannot. To thrive in this role, you’ll heavily depend on your ability to multitask and react. You’ll clinically care for your patients, remaining focused and attentive, as you continuously monitor them throughout your shift. Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs. Job Requirements Required Graduate of an RN nursing program Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact. BLS (Basic life support) through American Heart Association NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required within 6 months of hire.
